Dear Students,

As your exams are approaching, so you need to convert handwritten sheets to a single pdf file in subjective questions during exams.

There are many Camera Scanner App for Android/iOS mobiles available that you can use. Some are paid ones and some provide limited free page scans facility. You are free to use any mobile app to convert answer sheet to one pdf file.

Here we are introducing to a free mobile app with a name KAAGAZ SCANNER. KAAGAZ Scanner APP has all the features you require to convert your camera images of handwritten pages to one pdf file.

After installing the app in your mobile phone, you can easily click the picture of your answer response sheet(s) on your phone and convert the image files to one pdf. That you need to upload on LMS. You can share this pdf file on your PC or laptop (via Bluetooth, WhatsApp, Email, etc.).

Steps to convert answer sheet images to one pdf file. You need to upload this on LMS.

1)    Search KAAGAZ SCANNER APP on Google Play store and Apple Store

Dear Students, please practice the conversion process twice or thrice to convert 4-5 handwritten pages of your work to one pdf file. As one pdf file will be upload as answer response to subjective questions on LMS.

The practice will make you confident about the conversation process. Also, you know the estimated time you take to covert answer response sheets/papers to pdf file.

Make sure pdf created is readable.  Please check size of pdf file it should not be too large.

3)Though you all are techies, still a YouTube video demonstrating its features.

You are free to use any mobile app to convert answer sheets to one pdf file.

Online Lectures/Labs/Tutorials through ZOOM:

Ø  Open

Ø  SIGN UP with your email

Ø  You need to install zoom application on your PC/Laptop/Mobile/Tabs to attend online lectures. Use your institute emailed to login on zoom.

Ø  Open TIET LMS with user credentials and click the online lecture link.

Ø  It will ask you to allow to open zoom in zoom application. Allow it.

Ø  You will be connected to the online class.

Thapar Email Access:

Institute issues email to all students. The online lectures and LMS access is through this email address.

Ø  Username: Will be shared through SMS or EMAIL

Ø  Password:   First three letters of your Father's Name in Capital Letter + DDMM of your Date of Birth + @tiet.

Example: Mohit Kumar is having enrollment number 102012001, His Father's name is Ramesh Kumar and his date of birth is 03-Jan-2000. His password is RAM0301@tiet.




Open in the web browser and enter and password.



            Set up IMAP

a)        Step 1: Check that IMAP is turned on

1.   On your computer, open  Gmail.

2.   In the top right, click Settings Gear on top-right. See all settings.

3.   Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

4.   In the "IMAP access" section, select Enable IMAP.

5.   Click Save Changes.

b)       Step 2: Change SMTP & other settings in your email client

Use the table below to update your client with the correct information. For help updating your settings, search your email client's Help Center for instructions on setting up IMAP.
